"Sometimes it pays to stay in bed in Monday, rather than spending the rest of the week debugging Monday's code" -Dan Salomon
It's a lazy Monday for me. I just wanna sulk up in bed and wake up when it's Friday. I'm so tired from yesterday's walking under the rain. It has been raining a lot lately. It made me feel like I'm walking along the streets of London. But checking this week's weather update is quite a relief.
No more rain at last!
I am not exactly a winter girl. Summer is my season. And no matter how pretty and magical snow could be, I don't go nuts over it. Maybe because I grew up in a tropical area. Or maybe I just hate bundle ups and short days. While I was trying to organize my iPhoto, I was surprised I really don't have that much winter pictures, it's jam-packed with summer fun. And fall may be my favorite fashion season (but of course), still the rough and ready look for summer is without parallel. Looking at my pictures last summer gives me warmth and makes me look forward when it comes again.
This photo never fails to make me smile no matter how many times I look at it. Naked Cowboy has become one of Times Square's attractions. It took a lot of nerves for me to come up to him for a picture. And man was he crazy! I didn't grab his ass. It's not what it looks like, I promise!
Beldevere castle's view of the park is breathtaking. There's more wonderful sights to see than the girls in bikini laying around the Sheep's Meadow you know.
This is my favorite spot at Central Park not just because I'm a Shakespeare fan (like I memorized some of his sonnets by heart) but because of the tranquility. It transports me away from the ballyhoo of urban turf and makes me forget I am in NYC. Whenever I feel like spending some time alone, I go there and it seems like the place absorbs all my stress. If only I could build a house there...
And by good distractions I don't mean cute half-naked guys running around the park. Ok, maybe that counts. =)
