where have I been?

Wow, I don't know what to say. I've been MIA for the last seven days and I can't describe how I miss you all. I know it's late but I hope everyone had a great new year. As for me, it was a blast! My friend from L.A. came over to spend new year with us. We were all over the city last week. Here's how I spend the last days of 2009 and welcomed 2010.

Christmas Spectacular at Radio City

I wanna take the chandelier home and do the monkey swing with it.

The experience was breathtaking, especially the 3D part. This is one of the reasons why I love holidays. Christmas in New York is like no other.

This is my favorite scene:

After the show, we grabbed a cup of the best hot chocolate ever! And a dozen cupcakes too. What a great way to gain something for 2010, extra pounds.

My stylish bro in his trench and fedora.

...the hot chocolate became chilled chocolate.

The city's winter wonderland
We planned to go ring in 2010 at Times Square that's why for the last day of 2009 I look like a ski bum. I don't care if I look so puffy and big as long as I can survive the long hours of cold and windy night at Times Square. We spent a little time frolicking at Central Park before heading to find our way in the gazillions of people.

Ringing in 2010 at Times Square
This new year's eve's weather was not as bad as last year. Though it rained a little, the temperature is on 20s plus the body heat of the crowd. Not to mention my 5-layer outfit not including the down coat.

It was so fun. We stood for 6 hours but it's so fun I didn't notice it. There's a countdown every hour and fireworks! The people were fun and we made friends. It's so fascinating to hear people speak different languages come together as one in welcoming the new decade.

Celebrating 2010 with my family

Mom and Dad

With my friend, Roxy.

How's your 2010 so far lovelies?

Cheers for a stylish new year everyone!

Isn't it funny how we meet up here and find an instant connection? Leah and I, for example, haven't actually met up yet but we are talking a lot ... hope we finally get to do it when she gets back.

The family is planning a trip to the U.S. this year. It's just very contingent to the hubby's schedule ... and the finances, of course! Hopefully, it materializes so I can finally see you in the flesh!

I'm going to look up that Andy Warhol image that you described to me just now ... I'm so intrigued! Thank you for thinking about me!

HUGS!
