5.2.10

let's have some tee!

I'm a big fan of read-me tees. I have a pile of them. But I'm not really a tee person so they all end up stacked (with price tags). That's something I need to change about myself. My impulse to buy tees is way higher than my jones to wear it. Not a good thing. So since I pity my forsaken darlings, I decided to introduce them (actually, one of them) to the world.
It's a laid-back day. There's no better friend like Chucks on days like this.
How I love the comfort of jeggings!
And a scarf can be so handy on windy days. I can't describe how messy my hair was that day. I bought this really cute rectangular scarf last summer at the street fair for $2. And that glass letter B pendant was from another street fair too, for only 3 for $5 I think. I love street fairs. And I miss it.

I wear rings rarely but I do love how it can make any woman's hand delicate. I got this just across the street for $1. Oh if you only know how hard it is for me to live in a city where it will only take me a couple of steps from the door to shop. There's just so much to buy!

And of course, my favorite Chucks (as if I got a lot). This pair is so me. I love how you can build your own Converse shoes on their website (I blogged about it here). And I even had my name monogramed on the side in pink, which I colored black because I don't want strangers calling me by my name when I'm walking (if I knew it would be this huge, I would have just put my initials on it).

****AWARD****
Inspiration in Italy and Style Artisan shared this wonderful award with me. I am thankful beyond words. These ladies are truly inspiring. And they inspired me in ways I can't forget.

I have quite a few tee shirts like this. I generally wear them under jackets. That way, if I don't want someone to see the words, I can kind of pull the jacket together. It works for me!

You look so cute with that headband!

So you too have jumped in to this jeggings craze, huh?! Is it pretty comfy as how it claims to be?! Really intrigued to try out one. Though not in a rush to do so. It's still very cold here and anything less than 2 layers would freeze my arse in 5 minutes!

I love graphic tees but sadly, I only own one, hehe =)

Elaine said...

You look great! You're rocking the graphic tee!

Thanks :D
I'm the same, I rarely wear t-shirts but I love how many cool ones there are out there, so I always buy 'em and never use them haha.. I need to change that too !

Imogen said...

I am not a major fan of read me t shirts either but I think they can be effective for certain occassions and having a couple is often good. I think you incorporated your top perfectly into an outfit that is the style I mean when I say it can work well. I think your shoes are a perfect match too.

Cherie said...

congratulations on your award! I love your chucks :)

Gizelle Faye | Vanilla Ice Cream said...

i love chucks too...or the thought of wearing them...i love them on my punkie friends...especially with their skinny jeans.. but i feel too short...so my chucks don't get much love...buhu.hehe.
